AVIS PRESTIGE - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rental Period
- Rates apply per day (24 hours)
- If the vehicle is returned more than 1 hour late, an extra day's rental will be charged.
- Minimum hire periods may apply to Weekends, Bank/Public holidays and to some locations.

Payment
- Payment is accepted by credit card, Avis charge card and Avis travel voucher.
- A deposit of between £600-£3,000 will be taken at the time of rental.
- The deposit is refundable, provided the vehicle is returned undamaged and full of fuel.
- The estimated cost of the rental and the deposit is payable at the start of the hire.
- Please note that some type of cars require two credit cards.

Insurance
- The rental quote includes Comprehensive cover although excess does apply.
- The amount of excess depends on which car you have rented and whether you have chosen to reduce the excess.
- The excess ranges from £600 to £3,000.
- An insurance proposal form must be completed by everyone wishing to drive the car.
- Minimum age limits apply; details of which are found alongside the description of the car on the website.

Loss or Damage to Vehicle
- Rates include comprehensive accidental damage cover, except for the first £600 - £3,000 (depending on which car you hire).

Waiver
- The excess may be reduced for a daily payment. Details of which are found alongside the description of the car.

Accidents
- All accidents must be reported within 24 hours and an accident report form completed.
- Failure to do this may result in the insurance becoming invalid. 

Mileage
- Rates include unlimited mileage (except those vehicles shown below)
- There is a free daily mileage allowance for each vehicle shown below.
- Any additional mileage travelled will be charged at the excess rate shown

Driving Licence
- A valid driving licence (held for at least two years) must be produced at the time of hire.
- Endorsed licences may be accepted at the discretion of Avis Prestige. Please check at the time of booking
- We also require additional proof of identity such as a passport and proof of address.

Fuel
- Fuel is not included in the rental price.
- The hirer is responsible for ensuring the correct fuel is used.
- If the wrong fuel is used the hirer is liable for all costs including recovery and repair. 
- All vehicles leave our locations with a full tank of fuel.
- Provided the vehicle is returned with a full tank of fuel, no refuelling charge is payable.
- If a vehicle is returned not full of fuel, will refuel the vehicle on the hirers behalf.
- The designated price per litre to refuel the vehicle will be displayed at our rental location. 

Additional Drivers
- There is no charge for an additional driver.
- Driving licences for additional drivers must be shown at the time of hire.

London Congestion Charge
- Avis Prestige will charge for the first and last day of the rental (currently £8 plus vat per day) if the vehicle is delivered and/or collected in the congestion zone or if we travel through the zone to the delivery/collection location.
- The hirer is liable and responsible for any additional days payment if the vehicle is driven in the zone during any other apart of the rental.

Vehicle returns
- The hirer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is returned to the agreed location.
- If Avis Prestige has agreed for the vehicle to be returned outside of office hours, the hirer will remain responsible for the vehicle and it's condition until it is re-inspected by a member of our staff.
- If Avis Prestige has agreed the vehicle may be returned to a non-Avis location, it is the hirer's responsibility to inform Avis Prestige that the vehicle is ready for collection and to park the car safely and legally until the vehicle is collected. 
- The hirer will remain responsible for the vehicle and it's condition until it is re-inspected by a member of our staff.

Parking, Traffic and other offences / fines
- All fines and court costs for parking, traffic or other offences (including any costs which arise if the vehicle is clamped or towed) are the responsibility of the hirer.
- If these fines are not paid, a £47 administration charge per offence will apply.

Foreign Travel
- Cars may not be taken out of England, Scotland or Wales without written authorisation.
- Vehicles taken abroad will be subject to a rate surcharge and additional insurance cover.

Child / Baby Seats
- We can provide child and baby seats at £30. Fitting is the responsibility of the hirer.

Cancellations
- Over 24hours: No charge.
- Under 24hours: 1 Days rental.
- No show: 1 Days rental plus any delivery charge (if applicable).

DREAM CAR HIRE - TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms & conditions apply to all vehicles supplied by our partner DREAM CAR HIRE

General Conditions
- All rental prices and charges shown include VAT.
- Delivery and collection is not included in your quotation.
- Minimum rental period is 1 day.
- Drivers must be aged between 28 years and 70 years.
- Drivers must hold a current valid UK or International driving licence and must have held same for at least 24 months.

Drivers Must
- Be in a physical condition so as to be reasonably considered capable of driving a performance car safely.
- Not have been convicted of ANY of the following motor offences; AC/BA/CD/DD/DR/UT/XX within the last 5 years or convicted of more than ONE of the following motoring offences in categories CU/IN/LC/MS/MW/PC/PL/SP/TS in the last 3 years.
- Not have been involved in more than one accident in the past 3 years.
- Not be engaged in any of the following:
a) Professional entertainment or sport
b) Foreign service personnel
c) Courier use
[Drivers not qualifying under the above may be permitted subject to additional terms and conditions to be agreed prior to the commencement of the hire. If such a driver is subsequently accepted they will be permitted to drive the vehicle only with our written consent and that of our insurance company].

Additional Drivers
- Two drivers are permitted and one additional driver may be added to the rental agreement at the cost of £15/day provided that the additional named driver meets the above criteria, signs the rental agreement and produces the required documentation (driving licence, passport and utility bill).
- Dreamcarhire reserves the right to refuse hire without reason

Deposits
- All hires are subject to dreamcarhire holding a security deposit (up to £5,000 dependent on the car hired) - The deposit will be used to cover accidental damage or loss incurred during the hire, topping up the fuel tank if not returned full, any excess mileage charge and any other charges as become due and referred to in the rental agreement.

Mileage
- There is a free daily mileage allowance for each vehicle shown below.
- Any additional mileage travelled will be charged at the excess rate shown

Reservation Deposit
- A booking fee of £200 will be taken at the time you make your reservation and this will form part of the hire charge (ie the hire charge will be reduced by £200 when you pay the full amount) but if you cancel the booking, this fee is not refundable.
- The estimated cost of the hire and the deposit must be paid 14 days prior to the commencement of the hire (a cheque must have cleared prior to the start of the hire).

Refuelling
- The car will be supplied to you with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with the same. If returned to us with less than a full tank you will be charged for refuelling at the rate per litre shown on your rental agreement.
Methods of Payment
- All major credit cards accepted.

Rental Period
- Weekend rates apply from Friday to Monday inclusive. If the vehicle is returned more than one hour after the agreed end of the hire you will be charged for an extra day.

Extending The Hire Period
- If you wish to extend the period of the rental you must contact our office and pay for the additional hire period before the end of the original rental agreement. To drive the vehicle after the agreed hire period without our consent will mean that you will be driving without insurance.

Foreign Travel
- The cars may be used only within England, Scotland and Wales without prior written consent. If such written consent is given to travel abroad there will be an additional charge.

Hours of Business
- Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 15:00.
